According to Kris Gunnars, a nutritional food expert, SUPERFOODS are foods packed with massive amounts of nutrients relative to their caloric content. They may also contain some unique biologically active compound with powerful health benefits.

I have been doing my best to add more of these SUPERFOODS into my daily diet, whether it is by putting them in shakes, adding them to salad, snaking on them or even making them my main meal.

As the temperatures get warmer and the daylight gets longer, see if you can substitute those “foods” in your diet with some of these highly rated SUPERFOODS!
